HOW ALGEX™ WORKS:

ALGEX™ works by quickly penetrating and breaking the bond between the algae and the aluminum so it can be easily and completely removed by pressure washing or scrubbing and rinsing with a garden hose. It also softens Barnacle, Zebra and Quagga Mussel shells and adhesive to make removal by scraping easier.

OTHER PLACES ALGEX™ CAN BE USED:

ALGEX™ can also be used for cleaning and brightening galvanized trailers and for removing hard water spots from fiberglass boats. ALGEX™ is an aluminum boat cleaner invented for removing marine growth and is not a brightener such as ALUMABRITE™. It does not protect against marine fouling. For that you require VS721™ BOTTOM COAT.
